Film Historian Bruce Crawford will host his next event Bye Bye Birdie on Friday May 15. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Omaha Community Playhouse, 6915 Cass Street. The program begins at 7 p.m.  

This event also marks 32 years since Crawford started hosting film legends and the classic films they worked on.

Special guest will be the legendary actress and entertainer Ann-Margaret, who played Kim McAfee in the film.

Ann-Margaret will speak before the screening and describe the making of this acclaimed comedy film.
